All Cable Car Tickets

Experience Tromsø from above, with panoramic views of the city, fjords and surrounding mountains—by day or evening.

The cable car takes you from the lower station to Storsteinen, 421 metres above sea level, in approximately five minutes. Departures run regularly throughout the day, with additional departures during busy periods.

At the summit, you can take in the view from several viewpoints, capture memorable photographs and experience the changing Arctic light. Visit during the day for sweeping views across the landscape, or come in the evening for the illuminated city and the chance to see the Northern Lights when conditions are right.

There is no need to rush your visit. Stay at the summit for as long as you like within Fjellheisen’s opening hours, and warm up with coffee, hot chocolate, waffles or a light bite in the mountaintop café.
